Maragsâ is a free display typeface with a semi-serif style, inspired by the pakupyâ accent used in Filipino to guide pronunciation. The tapered tips of the accent influenced sharp edges, swift strokes, and abrupt cuts in the characters, mirroring the way stressed words should be spoken.
